About WCM SheBiz

WCM’s SheBiz is a free, day-long interactive event for female students in grades 10 and 11 (accompanied by a teacher), to provide them with unique access to business leaders, business topics, and exposure to the numerous and exciting career opportunities available to women in business and STEM fields. The objective of SheBiz is to encourage more young women to pursue careers in business and educate them about the myriad of career opportunities available to them, so that they can make informed decisions about their future education choices and areas of interest. SheBiz is strategically aligned with WCM’s key objective of increasing women’s representation in leadership positions and in Canada’s corporate boardrooms. Since its launch in Toronto in 2011, WCM’s SheBiz has been met with great success and overwhelming demand and is now attended by more than 500 female students in Toronto annually. This year marks an especially exciting year as WCM’s SheBiz will once again be expanding nationally, with SheBiz events planned for Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Victoria and Montreal.

We look forward to seeing you at Calgary SheBiz 2017! If you have any further questions, please contact events@wcm.ca. The event has been offered free of charge to all attendees, thanks to the generosity our SheBiz Calgary sponsors.
