High fives all around!! We received $50,000 in grant money to transform our library into a Learning Commons and Maker Space. Lindsay and Shaveta participated with Marilyn from Education Matters in a workshop on how a Commons/Maker culture can support the work we do with our students and how it can enrich task design and help to infuse creativity, and collaboration into the learning experience.
This is a challenge using Lego. The goal was to design how bridges would look if built by a democratic government, a totalitarian dictatorship or anarchy. We decided to add a bridge built by Trump – it looked like a wall!!!
