The Kids Cancer Care Derek Wandzura Memorial Scholarship was established in 2008 to help childhood cancer survivors pursue their education dreams. As I’m sure you know, cancer and its treatments can have lasting effects on growing minds and bodies, often resulting in missed school and missed opportunities. This scholarship, named in honour of Kids Cancer Care’s founder late son Derek, is designed to help level the playing field for these kids.
