My name is Amy Leedham, and I am the volunteerism coordinator here at TELUS Spark.

I am writing to inform you that we are recruiting volunteers for our upcoming feature exhibit, Whales: Giants of the Deep, and we believe members of your organization could be a perfect fit.

Ross Glen Scholarship

“If you are currently registered in the Work Experience Program, you are eligible to apply for the Ross Glen Scholarship. Deadline for submission is January 31, 2018. See Mr. Eng in the Media Centre to obtain an electronic application form. ”

There are 4 scholarships worth $250 each for interested applicants.

Interested in going to a Post-Secondary institute in British Columbia????

On Wednesday, November 29 6:00-8:00pm Ernest Manning will be hosting the British Columbia Post-Secondary Institution Education Public event fair. It is open to students in grades 10, 11 and 12. The event will begin with a short overview presentation at 6:00pm followed by a booth style for exploration.

Registration is not required.

For those choosing to use the C-Train they will get off at the 69 Street SW station. For those driving there is parking available.

Pearson Gender Sexuality Alliance

Lester B Pearson is proud to be an inclusive community of belonging. The Pearson Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) provides a safe space where diversity is celebrated. The activism component meets at lunch on Tuesdays in Room 2136 as well, students are welcome to eat lunch in a safe space on Thursdays in Room 2136. All are welcome!
